As a growing business you may need a team of people to help you manage your #socialchannels or your YouTube account. This #video shows you how to change your channel from a personal account to a YouTube brand account.

Step 1: Login
Make sure you are logged in on the account you wish to make into a YouTube brand account.
Step 2: Settings
Click on your icon picture in the top right and select Settings. Then, go to See All My Channels or Create a New Channel.
Step 3: Create New Channel
Select Create a New Channel and then enter your brand account channels name and click Create.
Step 4: YouTube Brand Account Settings
Head back to the main account settings by clicking the profile icon in the top right, select Switch Account and select the main account. Select the profile icon and choose Settings.
Step 5: Advanced Settings
Beside your profile picture, select the Advanced settings. Then click Move Channel to Brand Account. You may need to verify this step by entering your password.
Step 6: Move Channel to a YouTube Brand Account
Click on Select desired account. Choose the new account you have just created. A warning will popup. Click on Delete Channel… to move your personal account over to a brand account.
Step 7: Final Check
Read the warning to decide whether you are happy to continue. Its likely you will lose comments, but other things can display too. Read them to make sure you are happy to continue. After this point, your actions cannot be reverted.
Click in Move Channel to proceed, then OK to finalize.
Step 8: Optional – Set Brand Account as Default Channel
Check the Default Channel tick box and then Save to select your new brand channel as the default for this account.
